I’m back!!!
Well, that break certainly went by like a whirlwind! But I’m back in the studio now and taking orders. The last couple of days have been intense with orders coming through, but I’ll be working my butt off over the coming days to get through each order. But as I am only a one woman show, please be patient as I work my way through everyone’s orders.
For those wishing to place an order for a face mask here is the link to the two types I am making!
Stay safe, stay home as much as you can and, as always, Stay Batty Beautiful Peeps
HOLIDAYS!
**ALL ORDERS PLACED FROM 24TH JUNE WILL BE PROCESSED ONCE I RETURN FROM MY 2 WEEK BREAK**
So, I’ve been on the go, solidly, since the beginning of the year. Bushfire fundraisers and then mask making through this pandemic, home schooling and the like, and while there’s still so much more to do, I need a break.
*
Mentally, physically and emotionally, I am drained. It’s time to down tools and take some time for myself. That being said, as of this Friday, 26th June, I will be taking a couple of weeks off to rest and relax and spend some time with my family while they’re on school holidays. This means that any orders placed from the 24th June will be started when I return from my break.
*
So, what does a break for me look like, I hear your ask? 🤣 Well, it will mostly consist of reading, doing something fun with the kids, all whilst being conscious of social distancing, of course, catching up on my Japanese studies and maybe making something for myself… for a change ahaha.
*
I’m still pushing through all the outstanding orders and am aiming to have the rest of those out in the post on Monday.
*
I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support, you lovely people have just made what I do even better.

Please take care and, as always, stay Batty you beautiful peeps 🖤🦇
Masks masks and more masks
Since the beginning of 2020, I’ve been making face masks. It all started with the bush fires that hit Australia badly in January. The air quality was so poor in Melbourne, that I decided to start making masks to assist with my breathing out in the open. Being a severe asthmatic, it was hard to go outside of the house without having an attack. Then the pandemic hit and I figured “why not make masks for others in all my funky and cool fabrics?” So I did. And here we are, in June, and I think I’ve made close to 200 odd masks *insert loud gasp* (It could be more, I lost count)

I’m now working on a pattern so that wire can be added to the masks, so stay tuned for those! I’ve also been experimenting with embroidering designs onto the masks, which has been a lot of fun! I’m working on a few other designs as well, so I hope you all love them as much as I do!
With conventions on pause at for the moment, I’ve been keeping very busy with masks making and trying to make some new items to add to the website. If anyone has any ideas they’d like to see me make, please drop me a line with the Contact Us form 🙂 But keep your eyes peeled on Instagram and Facebook for new items!
Lastly, I’d just like to thank everyone who has supported me through this wild year that we’re having! You are all amazing souls!
Stay Batty beautiful peeps!
Bush fire fundraiser
We’ve seen some pretty horrendous images on our screens of late, with the current bushfires around the country. The feeling of helplessness was overwhelming, so I decided to try and do something to contribute to the bush fire efforts. As a result, I’ve made these two adorable products, a koala key fob to hang off your bag or keys and a bookmark. These are $15 each, with 100% of profits going to WIRES and Wildlife Victoria.
